Remember When

As another year comes to an end, it's time to do some reflecting on how things change with time...



Remember when...

Gas was under fifty cents a gallon?
Girls could only wear dresses to school and guys could only wear button down shirts?
Hairstyles included backcombs and ducktails.
Single cuts of new songs could be found on the back of cereal boxes - you cut them out and played them on record players.
8 track tapes outsold LP's.
Sex ed consisted of an anatomically incorrect human outline, split in half with male/female internal reproductive organs displayed.
Nuclear fallout shelters and nuclear drills were our Homeland Security measures.
Teddy Kennedy was the quiet brother.

Come to think of it, most of it isn't worth remembering after all.
