Is He An Idiot Or Inspired?

Good question. Certainly, the FBI is questioning why Charles Alfred Dreyling Jr. of Norman, OK had a small pipe bomb made from a CO2 cartridge and black powder in his carry-on bag when he tried to board a plane in Oklahoma City. The 24 year old student of OU, told authorities that he started frequenting a website as a teen to learn how to make bombs and that he and his friends would go out in the country to set them off. The bomb was packed in with his cell-phone and electric razor both containing batteries that authorities said could have detonated the device.

Facing a possible 10 year jail sentence and $250K in fines, is it a case of stupidity? Or will further investigation reveal what once was childish fascination has become inspiration?
