How do the Justice's make their decisions? It sure isn't based on politics. It can't be based on law or they would all agree. Since they have so many 5-4 split decisions it seems like they aren't very good at interpreting the law at all. It would seem that a 2/3's majority should at the minimum be a standard by which they make their decision to lend some weight to their judgment and show a united front. After all, everyone in the US has to follow the laws that they impose. I find it hard to swallow decisions made by a bunch of "Supreme" judges, who are so often times divided as they are. Why should the country agree to a 100% backing of a ruling, if the Supreme Court hands the ruling down in a nearly 50/50 split? Especially, if the majority of the US citizens feel completely different. The Supreme Court needs revamping seriously. And if not, then Congress needs to write law to overturn "supreme" rulings, if their rulings affect the entire country and it is not the will of the people.
